Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team

Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team has a simple goal: to help organizations discover how to build cohesive and effective teams. The Five Behaviours is built upon the best-selling book “The Five Dysfunctions of a Team”. Team members complete an assessment of the team from their perspective and a report is developed based on the overall results. From this data the team can explore how the team can be more effective and understand individual differences and preferences play into team success using either “Everything DiSC ” or “Myers Briggs” Assessment.

A productive, high-functioning team:
  • Establishes trust between team members
  • Engages in conflict around ideas
  • Commits to decisions
  • Holds team members accountable
  • Focuses on achieving collective results

This assessment is generally debriefed as a part of a workshop involving the team. Time is initially spent with the Team Leader to ensure clear communication and a strong kickoff to the workshop. The workshop can be delivered in an intensive 2-day session or customized for other preferred time frames.

Emotional Quotient Index

The EQ-i is recognized as a scientific measure of Emotional Intelligence by the Consortium for Research on Emotional Intelligence in Organizations (EI Consortium) and the Buros Mental Measurements Yearbook. Buros, the leading publication for critical analysis of tests and measurements, evaluated the EQ-i as a sound measure of Emotional Intelligence. This approval of psychometric quality is a very important marker of proper test development.

Emotional Quotient - 360 (EQ-360®)

While the EQ-i® identifies the level of a client’s emotional and social functioning based on his or her responses, the EQ-360® assessment provides a more in-depth analysis by having those who work closely with the client provide information as well. When observer ratings are compared with the results of a standard EQ-i self-report, a more complete 360-degree profile emerges.
